FAITH NO MORE

Faith no more had their origins in the year 1981, when in california ,Mike Morris Called the group “Faith no man”(Mike Morris,Billy Gould and wade worthington). A year later Mike Morris was expelled and Wade Worthington  were expelled by Roddy Bottum and the group starts to call Faith no more. The name comes from a phrase from a friend of the band “The man was no more”,Literally «The man was no longer» making reference to the past Mike Morris.

In one year the band sinds for Slash Records,And in 1987 Their second álbum

“introduce yourself”, was edited. The next tour toke faith no more to receive good reviews in europe, but when the tour finished ,The rest of the group decided to say goodbye to Mosley because he was drank and he always fights with their pals

The Pixies

This week we are going to talk about The Pixies. Are an american alternative rock band that formed in Boston Massachusetts in 1986. The group consists of Black Francis (vocals,rhythm guitar), Joey Santiago (lead guitar), Kim Deal (bass guitar, vocals) and David Lovering ( drums). While the Pixes found only modest sucess in their home country, they were significantly more sucessful in the United Kingdom and elsewhere in Europe, although never achieving prolonged mainstream sucess with their studio albums.The group disbanded in 1993 in acrimonious circumstances but reunited in 2004.
The band's style of music contains elements including indie rock and surf rock. Francis is the Pixies' primary songwriter and singer who has been noted for his yowling delivery. He has typically written about offbeat subjects, such as extraterrestrials, surrealism and Biblical violence.The group has been described as a big influence on the alternative rock boom of the 1990s, though they disbanded before reaping any of the benefits this might have brought them. Avowed fan Kurt Cobain's acknowledgement of the debt his band Nirvana owed to the Pixies, along with similar tributes by other alternative bands, helped the Pixies' legacy and popularity grow in the years following their break-up, leading to sold-out tours following their reunion in 2004. WE PERSONALLY LOVE THIS GROUP.
Although the Pixies produced relatively few albums, whose sales were modest, they had a significant influence on the alternative rock boom of the 1990s.
The best songs of this group are "Monkey gone to heaven", "Broken Face", "I Bleed", "Allison", "The sad Punk", "Alec Eifell", and "Where is my mind".

INCUBUS

 Incubus is a Canadian of rock, compound for theyr vocalist Brandon Boyd, the guitarrist Mike Einziger, the baterist Jose Pastillas,bajist Ben Kenney and Dj Kilmore.

Is a Alternative rock band wich has enjoyed of a big success all over the years with singles like “ take me to your leader”, “A Certain Shade Of Green”,”Pardon Me”,”Nice To Know You”,Talk Show On Mute”,”Anna Molly” among others.

The band makes a fundation for various causes and charities in the E.E.U.U .  the band financed it, donating a porción of the revenue generated by the tours, online auctions,events and activities.
